February 20, 2020 – ALLISON PARK, PA – Lissa Geiger Shulman announced today she submitted nearly 750 petition signatures to appear on the ballot for State Representative in House District 30 for the Democratic Primary on April 28.
Of these signatures, 172 were collected by the candidate herself, primarily at voters’ doorsteps. “I’m particularly proud of my canvassing and signature collection while 38- and 39-weeks pregnant,” said Shulman. She continued, “I’m proud of the effort I put in going door to door in every part of our district – Hampton, Richland, O’Hara, Fox Chapel, and Shaler. It shows my commitment to changing our representation and the work ethic that I bring to this campaign.”
“This district is made up of hard-working people and families – which is why I’ve focused my campaign on making Harrisburg work for working families,” said Shulman.
In addition to her strong petition filing, Shulman cited numbers in her 2019 fundraising report as further evidence for the strength of her campaign. Shulman reported 28% more individual donations than her primary opponent and more than six times the individual donors than the incumbent.
