Lissa Geiger Shulman, Candidate for PA House District 30, Holds Campaign Kick-Off

Candidate for State Representative Lissa Geiger Shulman officially launched her State House campaign surrounded by enthusiastic supporters yesterday in Hampton. Geiger Shulman announced her campaign saying, “Harrisburg isn’t working for working families, but I’ll bring my experience as an education advocate and the perspective of a working mother to improve the lives of people and families in House District 30.”

In addition to Geiger Shulman, several prominent local officials who have already endorsed her campaign were in attendance: State Representative Dan Miller, her Campaign Chair; along with Honorary Co-Chairs State Senator Lindsey Williams and Representative Sara Innamorato; and County Councilwoman Anita Prizio.

Senator Williams introduced Lissa saying, “Lissa is unstoppable, and she will make an amazing legislator.” Williams also noted Lissa’s work with her as an advocate on critical issues like education and quality childcare.

Representative Miller spoke to his work with Geiger Shulman, saying, “Lissa is a tremendous worker. I’ve seen her when it comes to working on a campaign, going door-to-door, doing things that, when other people get tired and take a break, she keeps going.” He continued, “That’s what she does. And that’s what she’ll do for us in Harrisburg.”

Geiger Shulman wrapped up the event saying, “I’m looking forward to running an issues-focused campaign to bring state government back to what truly matters: our health, our jobs, our schools, and our families.
